The TOUPACK Food Safety X-Ray Inspection System provides an inline solution for detecting foreign objects inside packaged food products. By analyzing differences in X-ray attenuation, the system can identify target contaminants such as stainless steel, glass, ceramic and stone, as well as certain other detectable high-density foreign objects under suitable inspection conditions.

Unlike visual inspection, X-ray inspection examines the internal structure of the product without opening the package. This makes it suitable for continuous food production lines where reliable foreign object inspection is an important part of the quality-control process.

The system can be configured with different detecting widths and heights according to product dimensions and production requirements. It can also be integrated with alarm, machine-stop and optional automatic rejection functions.
